What's In My Bag: Work Edition

***
Hi beauties! Today, I'm sharing just a little post about what I keep in my work bag! I am actually a huge fan of smaller handbags and I only ever carry a big bag when I'm going to work. That way I can carry my whole life with me from Monday's to Fridays (lol). I may do another What's In My Bag post featuring my weekend bag edition so watch this space.

*The Essentials*
hand sanitiser, hand cream, lip balm, perfume & a mirror

These are basic essentials for any lady's handbag and I'm certain I don't need to tell you why. I am actually very OCD when it comes to germs and always sanitise my hands after I use the loo, shake someone's hand I don't know, touch or hold on to any surfaces outside, the list is endless really! The day I leave my sanitiser at home - and thank goodness that day has only ever come once -  I would just completely avoid touching people / strange surfaces and then making contact with my face. My obsession with hand sanitiser began after I came down with a horrible bout of the norovirous a few years ago. I believe I caught some terrible germs from the bus, made contact with my face and the rest is history.

*My iPad and Notebook*
I don't always carry a notebook with me because I always have my iPad and phone to fall back on when I need to write down ideas / thoughts that come into my mind during the day. I particularly love this pink notebook which I got for a ridiculously low price from Home Bargains! It's one of my fave colours and it's perfect for jotting down blog post ideas when I'm on the go.With my iPad handy I'm also able to check emails and get other little tasks done!

*The Word*
I tend to read most times on my commute to work. So this gives me time to review my Daily Manner and get a good dose of the Word which gives me the encouragement and drive I need to carry me through the day.

*Others*
I also often carry a bottle of water and a banana with me. I take a pair of sunglasses regardless of what time of the year it is just in case the sun decides to grace us with it's awesomeness, and an umbrella, obviously. The other day, I also got myself a foldaway fabric bag which I always take with me these days - don't nobody got time to be paying 5p for a carrier bag.

I hope you guys enjoyed this little post. As you can probably tell, I've been spending some time practicing my photography and flatlay skills so that I can provide better, quality content for the blog!

If you follow me on the 'gram, you'd have seen my post asking you guys what you'd like to see more of on Kike's Closet this year. I'd really love to hear from you all, so please leave a comment below to let me know what you'd like me to talk about or share on the blog.

Lots of love, K.G
